UK PASSPORT RENEWAL If you wish to obtain a British passport, please gather all the materials in Step 1, and then follow shipping process in Step 2. If you do not send the correct items your passport will be delayed.   The normal time to secure and obtain a British passport is five days, but recently it has occasionally taken longer, in some cases up to five weeks. In exceptional cases, we can request an issuance sooner, however there is no assurance the UK Embassy will renew a British passport it quicker. The Embassy makes every effort to meet travel departure dates.   We have not had a problem with securing UK passport renewals in a timely manner; however we cannot guarantee a date out of the UK Embassy.   After your British passport renewal, your Passport will be valid for ten years. Upon expiration, you will have to obtain a new passport.   If you would like for us to hand-carry your passport to the passport office, please send us the following:   Step 1 - Gather Application Materials A) Letter of Authorization Click for Letter of Authorization, print 2 copies.   B) Customer Information Form Click here to fill out the Customer Information Form, print 1 copy.   C) Two Passport Photos Kinkos and AAA provide passport photos, or consult yellow pages under "Photographers-Passport". Do NOT use vending machine or your own photos.     The person who has countersigned the application must countersign one photograph. A notary public is not acceptable as a countersignatory.   D) Proof of UK Citizenship Old Passport   E) The C1 & C2 application forms To download the C1 application, click here. They are very, very busy.   F) Travel Evidence (include 1 of the following) Copy of plane ticket showing foreign departure, OR Copy of travel itinerary (from airline or travel agency with applicant name, travel date, flight info)   G) A Photocopy of Your Green Card or Visa Please do not send your actual green card, as we cannot garentee its safety while it is in the consulate. If you have a visa to be in the U.S. in your passport, photocopy it and clip the photocopy to the outside of the passport.   H) Expedite Fee Urgent: $200 (Less then 14 Business-Days Processing) You must provide travel evidence.
